Buddy Application System Terms & Conditions
A. Definitions
- 💠A Buddy Application is defined as an application submitted by a candidate through the Buddy Application System in which such candidate adds another candidate (“buddy”) within the same application flow.
- đź’ The candidate who submits the application is considered the referring candidate.
- đź’ The second candidate added is considered the referred buddy.
- đź’ Both the referring candidate and the referred buddy should be external candidates.
- 💠This Buddy Referral Bonus Policy applies exclusively to referrals for Game Presenter (GP) roles. All candidates referred to under this policy must be applying for a Game Presenter position within Evolution
- 💠“Academy” refers to the official training programme provided by Evolution for Game Presenter roles, typically lasting approximately two (2) weeks.
- 💠Active Employment” refers to a status in which an employee is currently employed by Evolution in good standing, meaning the employee:
1.- Has no active disciplinary warnings, and
2.- Has not submitted a notice of resignation, and Is not subject to pending termination or disciplinary proceedings.
B. Buddy Application & Buddy Bonus
- 💠Candidates who apply via the Buddy Application System may be eligible for a fixed Buddy Referral Bonus of €400 gross.
- đź’ The bonus amount is subject to all applicable taxes, statutory contributions, and deductions in accordance with local laws and payroll regulations. The final net amount received by the employee may therefore vary.
- đź’ The Buddy Referral Bonus is granted only to the referring candidate.
C. Eligibility Requirements
In order to qualify for the Buddy Referral Bonus:
- 💠Both candidates must be hired (successfully start employment) within the same period, or the referring candidate must be hired before the referred buddy, and the referred buddy must successfully complete the training at Evolution’s academy and thereafter has to complete three months of employment at Evolution.
The referred buddy must not:
- 💠Have an existing candidate profile in the company’s recruitment system,
- đź’ Have previously applied independently, or
- đź’ Have been referred earlier by another source.
- 💠An immediate family member or relative of the referring employee; and does not create any actual or perceived conflict of interest that would violate Evolution’s policies, ethical standards, or applicable regulations.
In all cases, the first recorded application or referral source prevails.
If a prior application or referral exists, the Buddy Referral Bonus shall not apply.
D. Bonus Payment Structure
The Buddy Referral Bonus is paid in two instalments:
- 💠50% (€200 gross) after the referred buddy successfully completes the training at the academy, and
- 💠50% (€200 gross) after the referred buddy completes three (3) months of employment.
Both the referring candidate and the referred buddy must remain actively employed with Evolution until the relevant bonus milestone is reached.
If either candidate resigns, withdraws, or is terminated before a milestone is met, any unpaid portion of the Buddy Referral Bonus shall be forfeited.
E. Multiple Buddy & Application Scenarios
- đź’ Under the Buddy Application System, the referred buddy and the referring candidate shall be considered as one application and may be eligible for a Buddy Referral Bonus only once. Thus, if either the referring candidate or the referred buddy submits another Buddy Application with a different person, the new application may be taken into consideration; however, it shall not be considered part of the Buddy Application System, and no Buddy Referral Bonus shall be paid.
F. Employee Referral Program (Post-Application & Post-Hire)
- 💠From the first day of employment, both referring candidates and referred buddies become eligible to participate in Evolution’s internal Employee Referral Program.
- đź’ Any candidate referred after employment has started is treated as an Employee Referral, not a Buddy Application.
- đź’ For each successfully referred and hired candidate under the Employee Referral Program, employees may be eligible to receive a referral bonus in accordance with the Employee Referral Program Terms & Conditions applicable at the time of referral.
- đź’ Buddy Applications and Employee Referrals are separate programs and cannot be combined for the same candidate or bonus.
G. Sharing the Buddy Application Link
- đź’ After a Buddy Application is submitted, the Buddy Application link may be shared with others to allow them to submit their own Buddy Application with a buddy.
- đź’ Sharing the Buddy Application link does not create an additional referral relationship and does not entitle the sharing party to any additional bonus.
- đź’ Each Buddy Application is assessed independently.
- đź’ Only the candidate who submits a Buddy Application may be eligible for the Buddy Referral Bonus. Submission of multiple Buddy Applications, which will result in successful hires, will not entitle the referring candidate nor the referred buddy to multiple Buddy Referral Bonuses as specified in these terms and conditions.
H. Verification & Rights
- đź’ Evolution reserves the right to verify application history, referral source, and eligibility under its recruitment systems.
- đź’ Evolution reserves the right to withhold or cancel bonus payments.
- đź’ Incorrect, incomplete, or misleading information may result in disqualification from the Buddy Referral Bonus.
- 💠Evolution reserves the right to review and determine eligibility of referrals where potential conflicts of interest may arise.
- đź’ Evolution reserves the right to amend, suspend, or terminate the Buddy Application System and these Terms & Conditions at any time.
