Job Description

We are excited to offer a 6 month internship for passionate individuals eager to gain hands-on experience in Scala development.

As an intern, you will contribute to building, scalable systems which use modern functional programming-based design approaches.

You’ll work with a modern technology stack, including Scala and Cats Effect, while collaborating with experienced engineers and gaining real-world development experience in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

Degree in Software Engineering or a related field
Passion for software development and a desire to improve technical skills
Basic knowledge of Java, functional programming, or object-oriented programming, with a willingness to learn and contribute
Proficiency in spoken and written English
Strong communication skills and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the development team to contribute to production software using Scala
Participate in software development, focusing on improving technical skills and staying up to date with industry trends
Assist in delivering high-quality code for a scalable application with a global user base
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and problem-solving
