We are seeking a professional and empathetic Employee Relations Specialist to join our team in Medellín, Colombia. In this role, you will be responsible for fostering a positive work environment, addressing employee concerns, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
Offer counseling and support to managers regarding labour law consultation.
Manage and draft disciplinary procedures and documents. ·
Oversee employee relations programs and initiatives that foster a positive and productive workplace environment.
Manage works council related matters.
Create and update employee relations policies and procedures in alignment with company goals and legal requirements. ·
Serve as a mediator in resolving workplace conflicts, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies.
Provide guidance and support to employees and managers in conflict resolution and problem-solving. · Interpret and communicate company policies, procedures, and practices to employees and managers.
Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
Conduct thorough and impartial investigations into employee complaints, grievances, and disciplinary matters.
Document findings, make recommendations, and follow up on the implementation of corrective actions.
Design and deliver training programs on labour law topics.
Act as a trusted advisor to management and employees on employee relations matters.
Collaborate with HR colleagues to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive approach to employee relations across the organization.
Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and legal developments in employee relations.
