We’re opening our first studio in Brazil—and we’re looking for a Scheduling Specialist to join our team at Evolution São Paulo.
Scheduling Specialist plays a crucial role in coordinating and managing schedules to ensure efficient and effective operations within the organization. Employee’s primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain accurate schedules for various departments, teams, or individuals, ensuring optimal resource allocation and workflow management, which involves revising and updating of scheduling principles, requesting additional features for automation of the schedule patterns, and for training and educating stakeholders on the usage of the agreed principles. This position requires a close cooperation with team leaders, supervisors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination of activities and adherence to timelines.
Main Responsibilities:
- Review, revise, and update scheduling principles – includes all schedule events (vacations, sick leave, maternity, paternity leaves, etc.)
- Create, update, review of Knowledge bank of best practices of Scheduling.
- Creation of schedule patterns.
- Manage and approve or reject any schedule events (vacations, sick leave, maternity, paternity leaves, etc.), ensure appropriate coverage is in place.
- Use various internal systems including but not limited to JIRA, WIKI, MS Office, and scheduling software NEVOS, etc.
- Initiate scheduling efficiency changes, implement different procedures to improve schedule management and workflow.
- Perform other duties, as asked by the manager, which are related to this position, and which meet the qualifications.
- Training of new employees or other managers to cover scheduling duties while out office.
- Point of reference for other key stakeholders regarding schedule.
- Clearly and timely communicating changes to procedures.
- Establish and maintain cross departmental cooperation.
- Provide, when required, additional job training to game presenters/shufflers, as well within the department.
- Manage projects and deadlines set by your direct managers.
- Propose initiatives and ideas that will benefit the department.
- Manage ad-hoc situations which may occur on shift in appropriate manner to still be able to deliver all products.
