As an integral member of the development team, you will design, implement, and maintain automated tests, troubleshoot issues in a fast-moving environment, and support the team’s testing efforts, enabling reliable, efficient releases.
You will need to:
- Work with developers back-to-back, know what they cover in unit tests, help them define integration and API tests, and develop UI tests together.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated tests, integrate them into CI/CD pipelines, monitor flakiness, and expand coverage where it matters most.
- Plan, build, and execute a full range of testing (functional, regression, performance, accessibility) to maintain broad, effective coverage.
- Take an active part in the transition to continuous deployment, building pipelines and proper test pyramid.
- Engage with developers, team members, and QA teams to drive cross-functional collaboration and align testing strategies for improved product quality.
To succeed in this role you should have:
- 2+ years of total experience in test automation.
- Experience writing test automation with JavaScript/Typescript/Java.
- Experience with client-server integration testing and e2e test automation.
- Knowledge of Jenkins (or other CI/CD tools) and experience in maintaining CI.
- Passion for testing and aspiration to deliver a high-quality product.
- Great communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Good level of English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to work and achieve results without daily supervision.
Nice-to-have:
- Proficiency in TypeScript
- Experience with Playwright.
- Experience with WebdriverIO.
