We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Senior Payroll Specialist to oversee all facets of salary management, ensuring adherence to legislation and company policies. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurate calculations, seamless integration of systems, and timely submissions of tax returns. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct all payroll-related calculations and ensure timely payments
  • Maintain accuracy in the monthly salary file and employee data updates
  • Administer and process monthly absences in compliance with labor laws and company policies
  • Manage salary deductions, including taxes, pension contributions, and other mandated deductions
  • Submit salary reports to relevant authorities and pension funds promptly
  • Provide guidance and supervision to payroll accountants to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks
  • Collaborate with tax authorities to address disputes and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Liaise with payroll systems providers to resolve issues and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Support other departments with payroll-related queries and training as needed
  • Monitor tax and salary payments to ensure compliance with deadlines
  • Stay updated on changes in legislation and software updates affecting payroll processes
  • Ensure adherence to company procedures and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Assist in monthly closing procedures and preparation for audits
  • Respond to inquiries regarding salary calculations and payroll processes via email or phone
  • Participate in employee recruitment and provide training when necessary

Qualifications

 

  • A bachelor's degree or higher in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll administration
  • Advanced proficiency in local tax laws and Labor Code regulations
  • Professional working proficiency in English and Czech Langages
  • Advanced skills in Excel and proficiency in other Microsoft Office programs
  • High sense of responsibility and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow directives and work collaboratively in a team environment
