A Night to Shine: How We Celebrated Vancouver Summer
Summer in Vancouver is always a highlight, and this year’s Evolution Summer Party made it even more memorable for our EVOlutioneers. Over two Fridays in July, teams from across Evolution Canada came together to connect, unwind, and celebrate a year of hard work.
Fit Check: Dressed to Shine
This year’s theme was simple. Come dressed to shine. Some of us arrived in full sparkle. Others let their personality do the glowing. From sequins and metallics to sleek suits and statement accessories, the room looked incredible.
Setting the Stage to Celebrate
Before the party truly began, we gathered for a townhall where our Operations Managers shared how we’ve been performing, what we can look forward to, and most importantly, took the time to thank everyone for their dedication. With prizes up for grabs, the townhall ended on a high note that set the tone for the rest of the night.
Leaders Back in the Spotlight
Our Game Presenters are usually the ones in the spotlight, running the show with energy and charisma. But this time, the roles were reversed when our floor management team took centre stage.
In a hilarious Family Feud-style game, the team brought out their competitive sides to entertain the crowd. For many of them, this came naturally.
After all, most of our management team started their Evolution journeys as Game Presenters or Game Show Hosts, so performing and letting their personalities shine is second nature. The room was filled with laughter, cheers, and a few playful rivalries, a side of leadership everyone enjoyed seeing.
Good Food, Better Company
The buffet and drinks quickly became one of the night’s talking points. Highly praised by everyone, the spread was the perfect icebreaker, giving us a chance to relax, mingle, and fuel up for the evening.
Photobooth with a Twist
A favourite at every party, our photobooth got an upgrade this year. Powered by AI, this year’s photobooth allows us to change stickers, add effects, and transform our look. In a nod to sustainability, we skipped printed photos and made everything digital. All it took was a quick QR code scan to get a keepsake straight to our phones.
Because Music Has No Borders
It didn’t matter where you were from, the beat brought everyone together. The DJ kept the energy high all night with everything from Latin hits to K-pop, EDM drops and throwback ’90s hits.
Every track brought a new wave of cheers and a rush to the dance floor. Music from across cultures and decades kept the momentum going, and our young, fun-loving EVOlutioneers knew exactly how to make the most of it.
More Than a Party
Our Summer Party was a celebration of what makes life at Evolution Canada special. It’s a celebration of growth, diversity, fun, and a strong sense of community.
