1. Floor Supervisor

For many, this is the first step into a leadership role at Evolution.
What Floor Supervisors Do?
Floor Supervisors oversee the day-to-day operations of the gaming floor.
They support Game Presenters and Shufflers, coordinate staffing and rotations, resolve operational issues and help ensure our live games continue running smoothly without interruption.
They are also often one of the first points of contact when team members need guidance or support during their shifts.

Multiple opportunities throughout the year across both of our Canadian studios.

100% started as Game Presenters or Shufflers.

Prior experience in cafe or restaurant supervision roles, retail shift management or other leadership experience.
2. Team Manager

For many Floor Supervisors, this can be the next step in their career progression.
What Team Managers Do?
Team Managers focus on supporting and developing people.
They oversee team performance, bonuses, manpower allocation, attendance and employee development to help their team members grow professionally.
Above all, they play an important role in creating a positive and engaging environment for employees.

Over the past year, we promoted more than 5 Floor Supervisors to Team Managers. Many of these were newly added positions as our studio continues to grow.

3. Service Support Specialist
A role that may be a great fit for people who are comfortable with technology and computers.

What Service Support Specialists Do?
Service Support Specialists play an important role in helping our studios operate smoothly by identifying and resolve any irregularities that can range from real-time incidents at the table to hardware or software issues.
They work closely with different departments to troubleshoot problems and coordinate solutions to ensure day-to-day operations continue efficiently and games are conducted with the highest integrity.

Strong computer skills, technical aptitude, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to maintain composure while adapting to unexpected situations.

Our current Head of Studio in Canada followed a similar career path.
She started as a Game Presenter, progressed through operational support and management positions, and today oversees studio operations across Canada.

4. Academy Trainer
A great opportunity for Game Presenters with strong performance and enjoy helping others improve.

What Academy Trainers Do?
Academy Trainers are often among the first people new hires meet when they begin their journey at Evolution.
They teach how to lead games, presentation and on-camera skills, systems and procedures, to help new Games Presenters and Shufflers prepare for live tables.
What many people may not realize is that trainers also play an important role in helping employees improve their performance and work towards their full earning potential.
Through coaching and retraining, they support Game Presenter and Shufflers in improving their performance and achieve higher performance bonuses.

Teaching, training or mentoring experience, strong communication and coaching skills.

5. Technical Operations
Great for people who enjoy building, fixing, and working with their hands.

What TechOps Does?
The work of our TechOps team is quite similar to what happens behind the scenes on a film or television production set.
Behind every game table is a team responsible for building and maintaining the studio environment that players see on screen.
They work on our game tables, backgrounds, lighting and camera setups, helping make sure everything looks great on screen while the technology behind it continues to operate smoothly.

These positions don’t open frequently, but opportunities do arise. In fact, we recruited for this team just recently.

6. Equipment Support
A unique behind-the-scenes role that many people don’t know about. It’s also another interesting opportunity for people who enjoy hands-on work.

What Equipment Support Does?
Our Equipment Support team inspects, maintains and repairs gaming equipment used throughout out studios.
Through regular inspections, repairs and preventive maintenance, they help keep equipment available 24/7 while extending their lifespan.
They perform important quality checks and monitor equipment performance, to support game continuity. They also help ensure equipment meet our quality standards before they reach the gaming floor.
Because the team works with so many different games, they need a good understanding of how the games and their equipment work.

π‘ Fun Fact
The Equipment Support team in Canada handles more than 700,000 cards every month! Thatβs a lot of cards, and one reason why the team practices care to ensure retired cards donβt go to waste. As part of our commitment to the environment, when cards can no longer be used at the gaming table due to wear and tear, the team manages them responsibly through a specialized vendor who securely shreds and recycles them.

7. Talent Acquisition Specialist
For many of us, they were some of the first few people we met when we applied to Evolution.

What Talent Acquisition Does?
Our Talent Acquisition team reviews job applications, screen candidates, conducts interviews, assesses candidate potential, provides studio tours and guides candidates through the hiring process.
They play an important role in finding the right people for the right roles, and help build the teams that keep our studios running.

8. Project Management
As our studios continue to expand, this team plays an important role in making that growth possible.

What Our Project Management Team Does?
When our studios expand, bringing new spaces to life requires much more than just construction. Every change requires careful planning and coordination, from studio and office layouts to operational requirements, licenses and permits.
Our Project Management team works across different departments to coordinate these moving pieces, making sure business and operational needs are considered throughout the process and helping turn plans on paper into functional spaces we can work in every day.

The current leader of the Project Management Department started as a Game Presenter and has been part of Evolution’s journey in Canada since our early days.
She has helped lead our studio’s development from one floor to a total of five floors today.
9. Office and Facilities Operations Management
A highly connected team that works with people across many different parts of the business.

What the Office and Facilities Operations Management Team Does?
This team plays an important role in keeping our workplace running smoothly every day.
They support visitors, office operations, workplace amenities, supplies facilities and many of our day-to-day needs.
From coffee machines and water dispensers to office supplies and other workplace facilities, they take care of many of the details that help make our workplace comfortable and functional.

10. Finance
The very important people who make sure our salaries are paid on time!

What our Finance Team Does?
Our Finance Team supports payroll, accounting, budgeting, compliance and financial reporting.
As our studios continue to grow, they also help ensure the products and services our operations need can be purchased and processed on time, while maintaining appropriate accountability throughout the process.
