Job Description

We’re opening our first studio in Brazil—and we’re looking for a Senior Team Manager to join our team at Evolution São Paulo.

The main responsibility of the Senior Team Manager is to consistently work to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Floor Operations team performance as well as maintain quality service by enforcing performance standards, resolving quality/service problems, identifying trends, recommending system improvements, and building a strong Operational team while ensuring the smooth running of the business is the main performance objective of this role.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage, supervise, coach, motivate and build team spirit.
  • Coordinating the onboarding of new GP in cooperation with Academy.
  • Handling Disciplinary Cases.
  • Coordination of Projects/Initiatives in Operations in Madrid.
  • Onboard Knowledge Bank for Operations.
  • Onboarding of new Team Managers.
  • Present new ideas and policies to prospective teams.
  • Work within your own team/s to produce the required results and meet company targets.
  • Analyze employee data and performance.
  • Manage employee expectations and eventual requests.
  • Manage and publish employee schedules and vacations.
  • Establish and maintain cross-departmental cooperation.
  • Work with internal systems (JIRA, TTS, WIKI, Nevos, etc.)
  • Provide, when required, additional job training to game presenters/shufflers, as well as within the department.
  • Handle and manage monthly bonus distribution.
  • Manage projects and deadlines set by your direct managers.
  • Propose initiatives and ideas that will benefit the department.
  • Monitoring and evaluating GP's live performances on tables.
  • Manage ad-hoc situations which may occur on the shift in an appropriate manner to still be able to deliver all products.
  • Any other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year Managerial or Specialist experience would be considered as an advantage;
  • Higher education preferable in business administration management or other related fields;
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills, Portuguese language skills as an advantage. 
  • Strong people management skills;
  • Leadership, Delivering Feedback and Coaching Skills;
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills;
  • Results driven attitude;
  • High sense of responsibility;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
