Job Description:

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Inspire and guide your team through organisational changes and challenges, providing mentorship and motivation.
- Conduct 1:1s, deliver constructive feedback, and manage 360-degree reviews.
- Set measurable goals and OKRs, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Identify training needs and support professional growth for team members.
- Talent Acquisition & Onboarding:
- Lead hiring initiatives to attract top-tier talent.
- Ensure a seamless onboarding experience for team members.
- Quality Assurance Excellence:
- Champion a culture of quality by implementing and continuously improving testing strategies, standards, and best practices.
- Oversee the development and execution of comprehensive test plans, including manual and automated approaches, to ensure the highest quality in games and platform features.
- Proactively identify risks, root causes of defects, and areas for improvement across systems and processes.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and thorough testing throughout the development lifecycle, enabling rapid and confident releases.
- Collaborative Quality Leadership:
- Partner closely with Engineering, Product, and other stakeholders to define quality goals and integrate QA early into the development process.
- Advocate for quality across the organization by driving cross-team initiatives, sharing insights, and influencing best practices globally.
- Act as an ambassador for QA excellence and innovation, contributing to the evolution of QA tools, processes, and capabilities.
- This role assumes your time is shared between leadership and hands-on quality assurance activities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in leading QA teams, including mentoring team members, conducting performance reviews, and guiding career growth.
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes (manual and automation).
- Hands-on experience in designing and executing test strategies for complex systems, ideally in agile and cross-functional environments.
- Experience with test case management tools (e.g., TestRail), bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira), and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive mindset for identifying and resolving quality bottlenecks.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence teams and advocate for quality at all levels.
- Ability to balance leadership responsibilities with direct contribution to quality efforts (e.g., writing test plans, running test cases, contributing to automation).
We will appreciate:
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integrating QA practices into development workflows.
- Familiarity with test automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright) and scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript).
- Knowledge of performance testing, load testing, or security testing practices.
- Exposure to exploratory testing techniques and tools.
- Experience with quality metrics and reporting dashboards to track progress and drive improvements.
- Experience in the games industry or in testing games/platforms with a real-time or performance-sensitive component will be considered as a plus.
