Job Description

As a Business-System Analyst in our Backoffice team, you will analyze our existing infrastructure, identify areas for improvement, and propose solutions to ensure the most stable, scalable, and fail-proof approaches, based on given dependencies and business needs.

This position is ideal for those who enjoy diving deep into feature analysis, identifying potential risks, and covering them with corner cases or alternative flows to ensure a high-quality end solution that integrates seamlessly into our infrastructure. You will also have the chance to work closely with numerous stakeholders and business analysts from different areas, so your communication skills will be in use.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting PDM in:
    • strategic business planning and defining new projects,
    • defining project goals and scope,
    • improving product user experience, including user interface prototyping,
    • data analysis of product performance monitoring;
  • Eliciting, analysing and specifying requirements during the development process;
  • Keeping up to date product specifications for knowledge sharing between project teams and requirements reuse;
  • Supporting requirements validation, preparing information and presentations for stakeholders and team members to address questions regarding proposed product decisions;
  • Collaborate with other project teams to facilitate information sharing and ensure the most efficient approach to problem-solving using infrastructural tools;
  • Monitoring and ensuring consistency across products;
  • Collaborate with QAs, DEVs and Designers during requirements and solution design implementation and validation. Provide valuable suggestions for potential enhancements, if required;
  • Few examples of real tasks:
    • system requirements and detailed mockups for audit log screens;
    • mapping and harmonization of different abstract levels of system settings;
    • creation of API specification;
    • in-depth analysis and complete user flow documentation for config management solution;
    • business requirements for roles and permission matrics;
    • data structure requirements for Kafka events and reporting.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in business analysis or a related field;
  • Advanced technical skills, excellent documentation skills;
  • Experience in developing and maintaining back-office infrastructure and/or applications;
  • Experience with using/documenting REST APIs, Postman experience for simple API requests;
  • Ability to understand and use system logs for analysis, Kafka experience would be a plus;
  • Understanding of relational and NoSQL databases and the process of building applications using them;
  • Strong analytical skills combined with the ability to plan and execute requirement analysis in a logical, structured, systematic manner;
  • Experience working in Agile software development;
  • Excellent English language communication skills;
  • Good leadership and social skills to mediate and cooperate well with other Evolution team members;
  • Ability to work in a fast-moving, high-pressure environment whilst maintaining accuracy and attention to detail;
  • Ability to operate independently, and as part of a team;
  • Domain Knowledge in Gambling and Live games would be plus;
  • At least a bachelor’s degree in the appropriate field of study or one of the globally-recognized certifications: CCBA, CBAP, CPRE, PBA, AAC, CFLBA;
