Job Description

Are you a skilled maintenance professional with a strong sense of responsibility? We are seeking a Facility Technician to join our team and ensure the smooth operation of our building systems. In this role, you will perform general maintenance tasks, troubleshoot and repair minor defects, and maintain key mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. You’ll also supervise contractors, assist with building setup, and contribute to keeping our facilities safe and functional. This position is entirely office-based.

Main responsibilities:

  • Transport and carry goods or equipment as assigned.
  • To provide ongoing maintenance and support of the company`s building systems and be able to fix minor defects, identify and report the need for major repairs.
  • Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards.
  • Assist in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary
  • Dismantles and installs and repairs furniture if required.
  • Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows, local wall painting, putty, replaces light bulbs, makes minor plumbing repairs etc.)
  • Supervise and escort specialists and sub-contractors working with the building technical systems.
  • Performs basic electrical work and determines when a electrician is required.
  • Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality
  • Performs other maintenance duties as assigned by the direct manager.
  • Check, read and write Utilities measurement

Qualifications

  • Secondary education is a must.
  • Basic knowledge of English.
  • Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
  • Previous experience in FS – minimum 2 years.
  • Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office.
  • Good communication ability.
  • High sense of responsibility.
  • Ability to work in a team as well as independently.
