We are hiring: HVAC Design Engineer

Job Description

  • Collaborate with HVAC Mechanical Engineering team to design HVAC systems worldwide.
  • Conduct HVAC loads and distribution systems sizing calculations.
  • Prepare equipment specifications and design documents, including diagrams and layout drawings.
  • Provide planning, support, and supervision for company's HVAC systems globally.
  • Liaise with design team to understand project requirements and evaluate new equipment feasibility.
  • Manage specialists and subcontractors for HVAC system projects.
  • Ensure HVAC engineering deliverables meet project and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze HVAC systems for inefficiencies and propose optimization solutions.
  • Promptly address ventilation, cooling, and power system issues.
  • Stay updated on HVAC advancements for research and development.
  • Monitor developmental efforts to design HVAC systems within budget and schedule.
  • Fulfill other related duties as assigned by manager.
  • Cover for colleagues during absences within regular working hours.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Ability to travel to various Evolution locations across Europe
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Minimum 3 years' HVAC Design experience in commercial, residential, or singular projects.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration.
  • Knowledge of Air-cooled chillers, VRF systems, Boiler, and air handling units operation and maintenance.
  • Proficiency in BMS, HVAC systems controls, and associated instrumentation.
  • Hands-on experience in designing and sizing water and air distribution systems.
  • Proficiency in HVAC design software (Autocad, Revit, Navisworks, piping, and duct sizing tools).
  • Familiarity with HVAC, mechanical, and plumbing codes.
  • Fire protection experience is a plus.
  • HVAC design or construction management certificates are advantageous.
  • High sense of responsibility and accountability.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Deliver efficient, timely, and high-quality solutions to engineering team and managers.
