Situated just a few hours away from most cities in Europe, Malta is a small island in the Mediterranean Sea having over 300 days of guaranteed sunshine in a year which means you can enjoy some of the world’s clearest waters that are perfect for diving. You can explore reefs, sunken ships and wrecked aircraft in and around its shorelines. But there is also lots to enjoy above sea level too!! 

Admittedly, summer life revolves mostly around beaches with a variety of water sports, or simply soaking up the sun. But Malta is so much more than sun and sea, with its unique characteristics, rich culture, and a nation known for their hospitality, Malta is a place where you can easily fit in. 

Malta has 2 official languages – Maltese which is a combination of Arabic, Italian and English influences, and English so you can leave your phrasebook at home without fear of not being able to communicate with the locals. Once you’re on the island, make sure to check out the island’s own soft drink Kinnie, Cisk beer, Twistees snack or the ever-famous pea or ricotta pastizzi fresh out of the oven.
